I am a Substance Misuse Project Worker

I finally got my contract today. The salary is very healthy, though the job description is perhaps a little on the vague side.

I am not sure when I am starting, but I am going to move into my apartment in Hertfordshire on Saturday.

Matthew that's great news! Have been praying and the Lord has answered our prayers. Hope the move goes well. Presumably you start early in January. A vague job description is good - it will give you flexibility to develop your role which will fit in with your own giftings and skill sets. Keep blogging to let us know how it goes! The Lord is good. God bless, Dave

Yay! That's good news for Xmas.

Dave, the sooner the better.

Paul, Xmas? With the amount I am about to spend on advanced rent, Xmas presents won't amount to much. But yeah, its good news.

Hey Matt,

Finally congrats.

You gonna have the carpets torn out and replaced with new ones for your health and such?

On a more serious note, how many chairs will you be able to set up in your front room? I fully expect you to have a home bible study where grace is proclaimed. I will pray for you to be convinced of this.

Your fg friend,

Antonio

Not sure the landlord would want me doing that.

There is not a lot of room, but that sounds a nice idea. I will have to look for opportunities.

By the way, I disturbed a few people at the Bible study tonight by bringing up accountability teaching.

I have had to move flat too in the last month. I know the experience of belt-tightening to make bond and advance rent-payments, so I have had to curtail impulse book-buying to buy presents for family and fly down to the south Island.
