Haircut

I had a haircut today.

I can't decide whether my regular haircut makes me look more like a member of the Hitler Youth or a Mormon missionary.

As you have met me, your opinion has a degree of authority.

If you're young + skinny, I vote for Mormon.

At 27 I am a bit old for a Mormon missionary, but I am a bit on the skinny side.

But you are to old for the HJ either ... and I bet, you have no Adolf-Nose-beard ... So I vote for mormon too. Celestial fundi as an under cover fundamentalist - nice idea, or? This days I read an article, saying: "The fundamentalists are everywhere" ... huhu, and now we've got an 007 to invade the mormons ;-)

I have had somebody accusing me, via emails to somebody else, of believing Mormonism on the basis of some posts I have written on Unashamed of Grace blog. But nobody has cone out and made that accusation in the comments.

People are too busy attacking some of the other doctrines taught on Unashamed of Grace.

From all that I've read from you, I would never think you are a mormon. How can one?
BTW: Moore than 20 years ago, someone thought I was a mormon. I was invited to a mormon church for an "open house day". It was no service, you just got a tour around in their newley renovated house. I went there (because I wanted to see how many people belonged to them) on a Sunday afternoon. Having preached in the morning service at our church and belonging to a church wich was very conservative about how to dress, I wore a white blouse, a blue skirt and a blue Blazer. When I entered the door, a young mormon-lady smiled at me and - opening her armes - said: "You must be Mrs. Wagner, the missionary." When I said: "No, I'm not, just visiting ..." the smile was gone, her armes crossed and than she said: "Oah, äh, visitors are welcome too!" and left me. I will never forget this *warm* welcome ...

I have talked about 'becoming a god', an expression that some Christians find a bit scary.
