A couple of people, a young man and a young woman were wearing flip flops at the evening service at church. I was not wearing flip flops myself, but it was rather re-assuring to know I am not the only who has been wearing flip flops and sandals in March.

A couple of years ago, it was really trendy to wear flip flops all year around, even in winter. That fashion seems to have passed, probably because of the popularity of boots and ballet pumps among girls.

For a theology postgraduate who reads Fantasy literature, I am surprisingly fashion conscious. I do like to pay attention to what people are wearing.
