You Tube: Monty Python - The Spanish Inquisition

You Tube: Monty Python - The Spanish Inquisition

A classic British comedy sketch. Being a Protestant nation, the Spanish Inquisition has always been part of our cultural imagination.

I remember one old sketch by Monty Python about some lady named "Ann Elk" & how they were trying to explain that her name was not an animal, & it got so involved that I remember almost not being able to catch my breath laughing so hard. I don't usually like MP, but that old one was funny to me. God Bless.

Bro. Matthew! Sorry, I made a mistake in typing. I will try again!
Believe it or not I found a transcript of that Anne Elk sketch right after I posted on your blog! It still makes me laugh hysterically because I can hear them in my mind as I read the words! If you've never actually heard the sketch it probably won't be as funny to you, but it just makes me roar!

Ahhh, I have a lot of fond memories of Monty Python. I used several Monty Python skits as illustrations in my recent Revelation Sunday School series I taught.
